Rosemaree Laurino

Rosemaree Laurino – I began my journey as a naturopath in 1998 after graduating from The Australian College of Natural Medicine. My first position was at Organic Wholefoods, a health food shop in Fitzroy, where I was dispensing herbal remedies and learning about organic permaculture. I noticed that most of the health complaints were related to digestive disorders, food allergies and fatigue, and it was then that I began to understand and appreciate the important connection between gut health and wellbeing.

In 2002, in the process of finding answers to my own digestive issues, I started working closely with some of the founders of colon hydrotherapy in Melbourne. Colonic irrigation changed my physical and mental health so profoundly and quickly that I realised cleansing the body was an integral part of the healing process and indeed the first step in healing any condition. I completed a certificate of Colon Hydrotherapy in 2000 and began specialising in digestive disorders and detoxification.

In 2004, after many years of practising yoga, I trained to be a yoga teacher with Radiant Light Yoga in Queensland. Meditation and mindfulness became a part of my daily routine and still continues to energise, balance and ground me. I believe that everyone can begin to heal themselves by regularly making an inner connection and listening to their own guidance.

Each of us are ultimately responsible for our own health and healing. The body knows how to come into balance given the right conditions but with so much information out there it’s easy to get overwhelmed and confused. As the founder and naturopath at Cleanse I take great pride in offering you the best of my knowledge and experience in naturopathy and hydrotherapy, as well as the support to find your own path to wellbeing.
